 Summertime Fun

actually: my son Alan cut his hair to look like a Mohawk at the beginning of summer!

Not so fun either: another summer and another fire!  We live off of I-5 and some people think it's ok to throw out their cigarette!  We have had a fire every summer since we moved here.

 Another day out at the lake, this time to celebrate my baby brothers birthday.

Our newest obsession:  Wii- boxing will kick your butt.  My favorite is bowling and horseshoes.

I turned the bottom of the slide into a mud pit and then let the kids go at it to try to keep cool in 112 degree heat we are having.

The twins love feeding the ducks at the local park that is on the Sacramento River.

While the big kids went to work, we spent some time at another local park.  The one with the giant slide down the hillside! (Miranda took the pic-good job)

What's summer without some bowling!  One fallen on their butt and I lost four fingernails...other than that...good times.

August 20th-  We went back to school.  The twins are in first grade this year and the older kids are in eighth.
