Little Pond on the Prairie

We went to dinner at Appl****'* (home of the Riblets) the other night, and I ordered grilled mushrooms to cover my New York steak and we laughed out loud when this bowl came with not even enough mushrooms to cover a quarter of my steak ( if that ).  We tried to estimate if there was even enough to equal two mushrooms?  NOPE-  I brought it home and pieced it together with toothpicks....One and half mushrooms with three pieces of garlic on the side. 

SKIP the STEAK TOPPERS!!!  NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

By the way- third time at the Red Bluff store and all three times it was not good.  After complaining, I was assured that everyone is served this same amount of steak toppers.  But that we wouldn't be charged for it (are you kidding me) .....but we got charged for the over done steak, raw veggies and cold rice!  This IS our last time, no more chances at that resturant!

UPDATE: Thank you to all that emailed me.  I wanted to let you know that I was contacted by Appl****'s and they wanted to appologize and make it right by sending me a certificate to come back and give them another try.  As soon as we try it again one more time, we will let you know how it went.  I am just happy that someone actually paid attention to the comment card that I left at the table...I thought they just threw them away.

Most of you commented that Appl****'s should have made it right for me that night.....we couldnt agree more....but at least they are trying  now. You never know what a Manager is thinking.

UPDATE to the UPDATE:  We went back to Appl****s and I ordered the steak with a side of mushrooms again and I actually not only received a nice portion of mushrooms but the whole meal was great!!!  The waiter was fab and we asked for the manager to let him know that we were pleased.  I took a pic of mushrooms, but I cant get it off my phone.
